Food Lovers Program

Chad saw an infomercial the other day about this program and had me order it.  It came in this past week and we’ve been looking through everything.  Today we will sit down together and make a meal plan following this program and I’ll grocery shop tomorrow for whatever we need.  We will also need to take our before pictures and take our measurements, those however will not be shared here.  Smile     

I’ve decided that I will write about the experience on this blog everyday (hopefully).  I will write about what we’re eating and how we feel and any changes that we notice in our bodies.  The initial program is 21 days.  The focus is on eating balanced meals of 1 protein portion, 1 fast carb portion, and 1 slow carb portion.  There are also two other combinations: 1 protein + 3 slow carb portions OR 1 protein + 1 fast carb (this would be good for breakfast).  You also eat every 2-3 hours to keep your insulin levels steady to promote fat burning.  No food is off limits so it’s not a diet, but a way of eating.
