I'm baaaccckkkk!
Hello to anyone left reading this blog (not sure that anyone really is). We got back around 1 p.m. yesterday afternoon. Unloaded and unpacked (mostly) and went grocery shopping. Then we relaxed the rest of the night after having steak and some yummy Wisconsin sweet corn on the cob for dinner.
While at the Nautical Festival in Rogers City, MI I bought a few Americana decor things that I need to get hung up today around the house. I also need to order pictures from our vacation and start scrapping our vacation. DH wants me to start scrapping our major trips to places. I'm not great at it but i'm going to try.
Off to order pics.....

Vera Bradley Coffee Cup
I bought this yesterday from a woman for $3. I love it!! It came with a warmer lid too.
Menu Plan Monday
I have been menu planning for a while now and it really does help. Lately i've been trying to plan for 2 weeks at a time so I can make my trips to the store less frequent. However, I can still use some work on this.
This week's menu will be short and simple because we leave on Thursday for vacation until the 15th.
Monday August 3rd- Lasagna w/garlic bread and green beans
Tuesday August 4th- Potato soup w/grilled cheese
Wednesday August 5th- Bacon sandwiches and macaroni

Spiritual Sunday
Every Sunday I will post a quote of some sort. It may be spiritual or inspirational or just good.
You will recognize your own path when you come upon it, because you will suddenly have all the energy and imagination you will ever need. - Jerry Gillies
I just stumbled across this one and the more I read it, the more I agree with it. Whatever faith or path you are on, it should be one that makes you feel great not like you are doing something wrong or need fixing. I think too many times people hide behind faith because they are afraid to find what really makes them happy and at peace. The fear of being rejected or judged is great in man so many go with the flow.
